Butter and Egg Adventures is a Alabama Retreat Center and Aerial Adventure Park in Troy Alabama

With 19 zip lines in Alabama and 2 different aerial courses, you don’t have to go far to have fun. If you are looking for zip lining / zip lines, a Alabama retreat center and other aerial adventure spots you are at the right place.  If you are looking for things to do near Troy Alabama, which is located in Pike County, then you need to spend some time here. Butter and Egg Adventures is not a state park, but we are close to Troy University, Johnson Center for the Arts, Pioneer Museum of Alabama and only minutes from downtown Troy and we are a great place for a day trip.  Our ziplines in Alabama vary in length and height.

Family Friendly Things To Do In Troy Alabama

Butter and Egg Adventures is a privately-owned Alabama  retreat center and outdoor recreational facility located on 48 scenic acres in Troy, Alabama. With plenty of family-friendly things to do, a wide variety of aerial recreation, including 19 ziplines in Alabama and bunkhouse accommodations for 52 guests, Butter and Egg Adventures provides the ideal location for your event. 

Customized group events for children through adults can be planned.  Church and youth retreats, field trips and kid birthday parties may also be arranged. Friendly, well-trained staff members assist guests on zip lines, climbing structures, low and high rope challenge courses and at waterfront activities. With a 3200 square foot lodge, Butter and Egg Adventures accommodates meeting and dining space for up to 100 guests with catering services available, but not required.

Also located on-site is the home of  The BattleField which is an outdoor laser tag field with over 42,000 square feet of playing area, fox holes, machine gun nests and more.  Our Escape Room allows you to have some indoor fun and our Snack Shack has excellent ice cream.

Butter and egg was a blessing for our ministry this summer. Everything was smooth and ready for us as we arrived. The food and is incredible Mrs. Susan is a wonderful cook! Natalie has been a great help before we arrived at camp and also a great help as we got here and started activities, Natalie absolutely was a major contributor to our students and adults having a welcome and fun and overall awesome stay at butter and egg! Ron Susan and Natalie and all the staff we have encountered have been amazing! I know not everyone experiences are the same but if you have the same hardworking, kid loving, fun having staff you will be leaving the same review as me!

Our family had a fantastic time at Butter and Egg Adventures! Our 5-year-old did the 10 ziplines, and the other 3 of us did the adventure course with the tree courses. They were so accommodating with our little one, and encouraged her when she was afraid (when she had to cross the shaky bridge to get to one of the ziplines).

Just finished a fantastic few days, with the teens from my church. They had an incredible time doing the climbing wall, flying squirrel, laser tag, ziplines, swimming, games, etc. And the leaders enjoyed spending time with the kids, rather than having to worry about cooking and cleaning! This is a great place for kids of all ages!!!! After spending most of the week in Tallahassee for a running event, our group drove the 3 hours to Troy to let loose and have some fun! The owners were very accommodating to our semi large group 25+ kids and adults. The zip lines are prefect for the vast age ranges that we had in our group.
