Butter and Egg Adventures is a privately-owned Alabama retreat center and outdoor recreational facility located on 48 scenic acres in Troy, Alabama. With plenty of family-friendly things to do, a wide variety of aerial recreation, including 19 ziplines in Alabama and bunkhouse accommodations for 52 guests, Butter and Egg Adventures provides the ideal location for your event. Customized group events for children through adults can be planned. Church and youth retreats, field trips and youth birthday parties may also be arranged. Friendly, well-trained staff members assist guests on zip lines, climbing structures, low and high rope challenge courses and at waterfront activities. With a 3200 square foot lodge, Butter and Egg Adventures accommodates meeting and dining space for up to 100 guests with catering services available, but not required. Also located on-site is the home of The BattleField which is an outdoor laser tag field with over 42,000 square feet of playing area, fox holes, machine gun nests and more.

Butter and egg was a blessing for our ministry this summer. Everything was smooth and ready for us as we arrived. The food and is incredible Mrs. Susan is a wonderful cook! Natalie has been a great help before we arrived at camp and also a great help as we got here and started activities, Natalie absolutely was a major contributor to our students and adults having a welcome and fun and overall awesome stay at butter and egg! Ron Susan and Natalie and all the staff we have encountered have been amazing! I know not everyone experiences are the same but if you have the same hardworking, kid loving, fun having staff you will be leaving the same review as me!

Our church group LOVES Butter and Egg Adventures!! Great place for weekend retreats, team building, family day activities! Our group was 9-12 year olds. When asked what the kids liked the best: flying squirrel, zip lines, vertical playpen, water slide into pond! They said “the cooking was bussin’ and “this place slays”….The adults loved the efficiency and organized atmosphere of the camp. The food was wonderful and on time! Ron, Susan, and entire staff is so helpful and kind! We will be back soon!

This was the highlight of our vacation.Upon arrival the staff was fantastic.Kayla and Terry were our guides.They Gave great instructions and walked us through each step as we progressed from one zip line to the next.It was more than I had expected, it included an obstacle course to get from one zip line to another. Each time we went higher and higher. Finally reaching the pinochle of 916 ft. The adrenaline was flowing as we were attached to the final line. It was a race to the finish line over a lake of water. I couldn't have been more pleased with my experience.2 hours of unforgettable experiences, one zip line at a time.At 68 yrs old I had the time of my life, along with my 2 dare devil road sisters LOL🤣😉I hope to return again with more of my family.But will a lot more time to experience all of the obstacle courses.Can't wait to return!!!Don't miss the chance to experience a memorable time of memory making fun.Act like a kid again you'll be glad you did it.As my 10 year old niece who was with me said. I dare you, I double dare you!!😳🤣Thanks again butter and egg adventures.For not only a great experience, but for keeping it affordable for everyone..You're the bestSincerely Shawn

We were a party of 8 (4 tweens, 4 adults) coming from out of state during spring break, and *everyone* (ages 11-48) had an awesome time. Both aerial tree courses were challenging but manageable for all of us, the zip lines were really fun, and we wrapped up our afternoon with some awesome outdoor laser tag. The staff was super flexible, professional, knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. Our adventures ran longer than planned, but the staff was happy to accommodate and stayed open past their official hours to let us experience everything we’d hoped! Would highly recommend and will be back whenever we make it back down to the area! It was an excellent family fun day for all of us.
