With 19 zip lines and 2 different aerial courses, you don’t have to go far to have fun. If you are looking for zip lining / zip lines, a Alabama retreat center and other aerial adventure spots you are at the right place.

Butter and Egg Adventures is a privately-owned Alabama retreat center and outdoor recreational facility located on 48 scenic acres in Troy, Alabama. With plenty of family-friendly things to do, a wide variety of aerial recreation, including 19 ziplines in Alabama and bunkhouse accommodations for 52 guests, Butter and Egg Adventures provides the ideal location for your event. Customized group events for children through adults can be planned. Church and youth retreats, field trips and youth birthday parties may also be arranged. Friendly, well-trained staff members assist guests on zip lines, climbing structures, low and high rope challenge courses and at waterfront activities. With a 3200 square foot lodge, Butter and Egg Adventures accommodates meeting and dining space for up to 100 guests with catering services available, but not required. Also located on-site is the home of The BattleField which is an outdoor laser tag field with over 42,000 square feet of playing area, fox holes, machine gun nests and more.

We were a party of 8 (4 tweens, 4 adults) coming from out of state during spring break, and *everyone* (ages 11-48) had an awesome time. Both aerial tree courses were challenging but manageable for all of us, the zip lines were really fun, and we wrapped up our afternoon with some awesome outdoor laser tag. The staff was super flexible, professional, knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. Our adventures ran longer than planned, but the staff was happy to accommodate and stayed open past their official hours to let us experience everything we’d hoped! Would highly recommend and will be back whenever we make it back down to the area! It was an excellent family fun day for all of us.

Camped out with our scout troop for two nights and had a wonderful time. Ron and Susan were great hosts and helped make the experience top notch.Zip lining and ropes course were a hit for both youth and adults. The staff moved a group of almost 20 through at a steady pace and very little waiting.Beautiful landscape with lots to do and can’t wait to return. Would highly recommend.

This place is so sweet and caring. The activities around the place are so fun, especially the survivor games and the outside lazar tag which helped me get closer to my friends. This is a great place for kids of all ages!!!! After spending most of the week in Tallahassee for a running event, our group drove the 3 hours to Troy to let loose and have some fun! The owners were very accommodating to our semi large group 25+ kids and adults. The zip lines are prefect for the vast age ranges that we had in our group. Would definitely do it again if traveling back to Alabama in the future!
