Snow in South Alabama is kind of a big deal since it only happens once every few years. Needless to say, we were OVERjoyed when First United Methodist Church Panama City came to visit us in the snow!

Seeing guests play in the snow, take photos, and explore the property covered in white flurries was a treat for us. They didn’t let the cold stop them from embracing everything Butter and Egg Adventures had to offer — and that’s what adventure is all about!

25 Years of Adventure at Butter & Egg Adventures | A New Chapter Begins

This Adventure is Changing Directions

It’s hard to believe that 25 years ago, our family began the chapter of leading Butter & Egg Adventures. This season of incredible growth has come to an end, and we are so excited to share that a new chapter is beginning after 25 years of adventure.

25 Years of Adventure

In 2001, we opened our doors as MVP Training Center without any idea of what we were getting into. Little did we know, 25 years later, we’d host thousands of groups each year, open up Camp Butter & Egg in 2006, and ultimately expand into Butter & Egg Adventures — an all-outdoor adventure park and group retreat center open to the whole state of Alabama and the Southeast.25 Years Of Adventure At Butter And Egg Adventures

Over 25 years, we have welcomed nearly a quarter-million guests to this special place. We have met and hosted school field trips, church groups, camps, retreats, summer vacationers, and corporate teams. Each of these groups has left with memories, friendships, and experiences far greater than a day spent at the park.

Natalie and Gatlin are poised to continue the vision set before them while also leading Butter & Egg Adventures with a fresh energy and new vision into the future.

Butter and Egg Adventures has reopened the Golf Practice Area in Troy with a new interactive twist on short game practice, set against the beautiful backdrop of a lakefront. Golf Practice Area In TroyIt’s a great alternative to the driving range, providing a more engaging practice experience.

The Basics

Target Golf Hitting Stations. The range has nine hitting stations at varying distances of 103-164 yards. Each station has its own artificial turf pad. The tee boxes have different angles of approach to the “Island Green.”

Short-Game “Mini Course”

There are three greens, with six pin locations on each green. Tee boxes change at each station, with players able to play up to six short holes that mimic the feel of actual play.

Not the TPC Sawgrass, But Playable & Fun.

This course is not TPC Sawgrass Island Green. However, this course is an alternative to TPC Sawgrass Island Green, so it is a fun, playable experience. There are pros and novices who come to our Golf Practice Area that enjoy hitting precise shots and simply enjoy hitting putts. If you are the type of person that either likes or needs to hit precise golf shots (like pitching, approach shots, and short game shots), then you can see why this is one of the best alternatives out there.

Color-Coded Pin System

Flags on the bottom of each tee box are a specific color. The flags on the green are also color-coded, with each tee box assigned a green of a corresponding color. Short Game Only

This is a short-game only practice area, and there are no drivers or long irons allowed. Players are limited to wedges and other short game clubs that allow for the maximum in accuracy and control.
